NCSPI is the first Yemeni company specialized in producing sponge, plastic, and sanitary paper products of various kinds. They aim to establish a truly national industry capable of meeting the needs of the local market with its diverse products, serving as an important contributor to the growth of the national economy. Its success has been supported by its affiliation with one of the most prominent industrial and commercial groups in the Arab region.
However, the company faced challenges due to high operational costs particularly the expenses associated with electricity generation, diesel fuel consumption, and commercial electricity bills.
To address these challenges we implemented a solar power system integrated with diesel generators and the commercial electricity grid. This solution reduced the operational costs of generator use and electricity consumption from the grid.
