Surdod Farm Solar Irrigation Project Located in Wadi Surdod, Al-Hodeidah, Surdod Farm cultivates a wide range of fruits, including mangoes, pomegranates, peaches, dates, and other local produce. The farm previously faced high diesel costs for crop irrigation.
We provided a sustainable solution by installing solar-powered artesian water pumps across the farm. These systems now meet irrigation needs during daylight hours without the use of diesel fuel. The project has increased crop yields, reduced operating costs, and enabled reinvestment into improved product quality and overall agricultural productivity.
