16 Kilo Farm Solar Irrigation Project Located in Al-Jadidah, Kilo 16 Farm cultivates animal feed to support livestock nutrition and boost animal production in Yemen, contributing to greater availability of essential food products. The farm previously faced high diesel costs for crop irrigation.
We provided a sustainable solution by installing solar-powered artesian water pumps across the farm. These now fully meet irrigation needs during daylight hours without the use of diesel fuel. The project has increased crop yields, reduced operating costs, and enabled reinvestment into improved crop quality and higher production.
